Hotel Lorenza Situated in the enchanting creek of Cavoli, one of the most beautiful creeks of the island of Elba, the Hotel del Mare - Lorenza, a 3-star hotel, lies directly on the sea. The white sandy beach is bordered by granite cliffs on both sides forming a natural frame for the crystal clear water.

In the immediate neighbourhood our guests can find numerous trails for hikers and mountain-bikers. We hold at the disposition of our guests a detailed guide with the different trails in the National Park: for the more expert hikers the trekking to the summit of the Monte Capanna mountain from where you have a breathtaking panorama over the whole archipelago -the summit can also be joined with a cable car.

But there are also wonderful excursions in the woods of the Monte Perone and the mediaeval villages of San Piero and Sant'Ilario.

In Cavoli the archaeological Roman ruins showing the antic granite mining, just behind the village, are worth while a visit. In fact the name "Cavoli" comes from the word "cave" - mines.

For scuba divers is possible to explore the sea of the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago. Just outside of the creek, a nice little boat trip, you can visit the 'Grotta di Mare di Cavoli'.

The nearby sea makes the hotel an ideal vacation place for families with children.
